Except now I'm not sure about adding in colours! I love the monochrome and grey row and am wondering if I should have made all the rows with such fabrics (not that I had them, since I'm using charm packs, but still...). However, I'm also wondering if adding in some colour is making that row stand out more and look better. Perhaps an entire quilt of it would look a bit drab?
I shall soldier on and in the meantime inform you of my favourite squares in the pink row.
Does everyone else pick a favourite bit when making a quilt from lots of varied fabric?

I LOVE zigzag quilts.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see how yours turns out, it looks great so far. I really like the dark grey. :)
This quilt looks fantastic! I love the gray against the softer colors and I can't wait to see it take shape. I definitely get attached to certain fabrics within a quilt- then I hoard those scraps like mad, haha!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing at Needle and Thread Thursday!

I always pick my favorite block. Or, if it's a scrap quilt, I know where all of my favorite scraps are. :) I like the pink row, I hope it gets to stay!
ReplyDeleteOh I do like where this is going! Get sewing, I want to see more!
ReplyDeleteI like what I see too! Hope you keep going.
ReplyDeleteI love HST zig zags! It's looking great! Those twenty three prints are fab, I have a charm pack of those. I always have a favourite little part of a quilt, points that match perfectly or a favourite fabric... :-)
