The hardest part was trying to keep the pairings random so the overall effect won't look ordered. I can't wait to arrange them all and decide on the layout. The other element of making this quilt which is proving very tricky is keeping it secret!

What a lot of triangles! Looking forward to seeing the layout.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your secret, my husband wouldn't notice but I wouldn't be able to stop myself from showing him early!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of patience you have there. I'm sure it will be worth it, look forward to seeing the progress.
ReplyDeleteLove the name of your blog. Great job on getting all those cut. That's a huge thing to check off your to-do list!
ReplyDeleteTrying to do random is the hardest!
ReplyDeleteYou've done the hardest part - can't wait to see the thing put together now...
ReplyDeleteOh my! That's a lot of triangles! I hope you've invested in a rotating cutting mat to trim them. Absolute game changer. Love your blog name!
ReplyDeleteOh! Your stack looks so wonderful!! Can't wait to see these all sewn together :) You are almost there!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't wait to see the layouts. I have never done all the cutting and piecing from the beginning on a quilt. I am too eager to play with the blocks, so I end up cutting enough for a few blocks, piecing those, then playing with them before starting work on the next set of blocks. I look forward to seeing the your quilt!
ReplyDeletePatience is a vertu! Can't wait to see how it turns out.
ReplyDeleteSo cool! Cant wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm, HSTs....this will be really good, won't it :)
