I have long coveted the Riley Blake Geekly Chic line and knew I was going to end up with lots of it. I love tapes and think it is a real shame nobody makes mix tapes any more.
I have no idea what I will use this for, but thought these gals were pretty fun!
I really like chevrons too!
The last two I have to show you are the only fabrics I purchased with a purpose. They going to end up as part of my name badge and ticket for the Stitch Gathering in August.
Mmmmm.... New fabric! I can smell it from here! Those look sew scrumptious! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with using some of this... Especially the Geekly Chic and that last fabric, with the old newspaper neutral print. Glad to have 'met' you through the Summer Blog Hop. I am on the same week. Maybe Beth is saving the best for last?! Ha, ha!

Great choices! I've also stashed several of these prints. I love, love those Dancing Girls. I can't wait to see what they tell you they want to be. :)
ReplyDeleteYummy....it is all just YUMMY!
ReplyDeleteI really love the Geekly Chic line and I don't have any yet. The dancing girls are tres fab - I'm looking for those later today as I think they need to come and live in my stash. Thanks for sharing your excellent fabrics - I'm glad they found their way to your home.
ReplyDeleteI think you definitely need a walking foot. I didn't get one for a while and it really makes a huge difference in straight line quilting and putting on your binding. I think we sometimes forget that it is not all about our skill and talent - a lot of times a good finished product is created because we use the right tools for the job.
Lovely! I keep drooling over the geekly chic... And you can't go wrong with chevrons! I'm eagerly awaiting some packages too -*drums fingers on desk*!! :-)
