I have had very little time to devote to sewing over the last couple of weeks. I got a fix this evening though by watching the final of the Great British Sewing Bee. I have dinner with my grandparents every Wednesday and for the last few weeks I have been watching the programme when I get home. There was only really one outcome, wasn't there? Ann was so good!
Today I also had twenty minutes to spare alone in a bookshop (dangerous territory for the bank balance) and bought these, mainly to look at the pictures.
I am also prone to buying shoes I know I will never wear just to look at them.
In a bid to start making sure I update my Blog more regularly, I am joining in with Work In Progress Wednesday. I present the completed quilting on the Under the Sea quilt! I am so happy with how it turned out (despite the fact there is at least one stitch which is 0.5 cm and some are barely visible to the human eye).
Next steps: squaring up and binding.
I love your Under the Sea quilt! It's so cute! Your quilting is great! No one in their 'right mind' would notice the stitch lengths and if they do, they have some serious OCD issues!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, I'm hoping they are invisible to folk who don't sew!
